Privacy and GDPR
We consider it extremely important that your personal data is handled correctly at all times. This Privacy Statement explains how we store and process confidential information.
This Privacy Statement applies to all activities of Aristo Holding BV, Aristo Eindhoven BV, Aristo Utrecht BV and Aristo Amsterdam BV (hereafter termed ‘Aristo’).
Aristo shall ensure that all operating companies comply in full with the terms and provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (incorporated into Dutch law as the Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming; AVG) and underlying legislation. The GDPR provides statutory guarantees with regard to the protection of personal data. Aristo will never acquire, store or process personal data other than when strictly necessary to provide a requested service or to fulfill contractual or statutory obligations. Only authorized personnel have access to personal data.
This Privacy Statement applies to all personal data collected by Aristo. We attach great importance to your privacy. We take every possible measure to protect that privacy and to ensure the correct usage of your personal data. We collect only that personal data which is provided to us on a voluntary basis with a view to facilitating the provision of goods and services, or to bring the availability of products and services to your attention further to an express request thereto.
General Data Protection Regulation / AVG
The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is incorporated into Dutch law as the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG). This binding legislation governs our internal information security policy, internal procedures, the design and implementation of processes and systems. All staff are trained in those aspects of the legislation that are relevant to their work.
This Privacy Statement does not apply to websites owned and operated by third parties which are accessed via links on the Aristo website.
Cookies: policy and use
Legal basis for the processing of data
We process personal data obtained by permission for the purposes of providing the requested products and services. Processing itself is undertaken only with prior permission, which may be revoked at any time.
If you request Aristo to provide a product or service, we shall process only the personal data necessary to ensure compliance with your instructions. We are permitted to process personal data provided there are legal grounds for doing so and no unreasonable infringement of your privacy will result.
Passing data to third parties
We do not pass your personal data to any third party except where necessary to fulfil your request or execute your instructions, or where obliged to do so by extant legislation. We can be required to share information at the request of:
- Public authorities (Tax and Customs Administration, FIOD, AFM)
- Rightful claimants (usually further to a court order).
Aristo reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement at any time and without prior notice. We therefore advise users to return to this page on a regular basis.
Exercise of rights and contact with Aristo
You decide whether you wish to use any of the services described on this website and in our newsletters. You decide whether or not to provide your personal information to Aristo. If you do not wish to provide such information, there are a number of products and services which will be difficult or impossible for you to purchase from us.
You have the following rights with regard to the use and processing of your personal data:

- Amend or correct data
- Remove data from the Aristo systems
- Transfer data (to yourself or to a person or organization nominated by yourself).
- You are entitled to restrict or withdraw your permission to store or process personal data. You may do so at any time but withdrawal of permission can never be retrospective, i.e. the legal grounds for data processing undertaken prior to withdrawal remain unaffected.
- You are entitled to lodge an objection with regard to the processing of your personal data.
