Working at Aristo as a catering staff member

At Aristo, you’ll feel right at home

Whether it’s your first day or you’ve been with us for years, at Aristo you’re never on your own. We truly value a warm and open atmosphere where everyone can be themselves and feel seen. Together, we make sure our guests feel welcome, but we believe it’s just as important that you feel at home here too. We work hard, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate our successes together—both big and small.

Working at Aristo

Working at Aristo means working in an environment where hospitality and professionalism go hand in hand. Every day, together with your colleagues, you contribute to the success of hundreds of meetings, training courses, and events. This is what makes our work varied and rewarding: no two days are the same, and together we ensure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. For us, it’s all about teamwork, personal attention, and the opportunity to grow.

Our Locations

In 1983, the Van der Kinderen family founded Aristo Meeting Center with a clear mission: to create a welcoming and professional environment where people can effectively meet, train, and collaborate. What began as an ambitious idea grew into a leading family-owned business in the Dutch meetings industry.

Over the years, Aristo has continued to develop and innovate, always putting the customer’s needs first. This has led to the expansion into four professional locations in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Utrecht Central Station, and Utrecht Lunetten. Each location has its own kitchen, where delicious (lunch) catering is prepared daily for all our guests.

Our headquarter is located in Best. Here, all bookings are processed daily, and the management team is based there. The Administration, HR, Facilities, IT, Sales, and Marketing departments also operate from Best to support all four locations.

Our Core Values

We create an accessible and welcoming environment for everyone. A place where guests and employees immediately feel at home and where everyone can continue to grow. Aristo achieves this through personal attention—from the very first point of contact until the last guest leaves. This allows clients and guests to focus 100% on the content of the event.

In addition, Aristo is constantly working on innovation. Innovation isn’t a goal in itself, but a way to better serve our clients—whether through modern meeting tools, smart reservation systems, or flexible spaces.

Corporate social responsibility also plays an important role at Aristo. We make choices that contribute to a better world, without losing sight of business realities.

Stories from Our Employees

Bas van de Ven has been working at Aristo as a booking agent in the Bookings department for over 17 years. We can safely say he’s one of our top performers! It’s high time to get to know Bas better and discover what makes Bas and Aristo such a great match, as well as what his unique contribution is to Aristo’s personal service šŸ‘‡šŸ½.

šŸ—£ļø What does an average working day look like for Bas?

ā€œMy average working day is very varied. I process all incoming requests via email, phone, and the booking tool; provide customers or guests with the right information; and inform them about the options Aristo has to offer, such as the convenience of our booking tool. This also involves, in part, following up with new customers, transferring bookings from existing customers to the booking tool, and monitoring how we can make the tool even better.ā€

šŸ—£ļø š—Ŗhat is your main motivation for working ar Aristo?

ā€œI draw my motivation primarily from our customers. Every day is different. The market around us, which is ever changing , also teaches us new insights so we can respond even better to our customers’ needs.ā€

šŸ—£ļø š—Ŗhat makes Aristo so unique?

ā€œYou’re never too old to learn! At Aristo, you get the chance to become an even better version of yourself, and you’re part of the family. No matter who you are or what you do, at Aristo we don’t judge anyone, and everyone is respected for who they are. And that’s what makes Aristo so incredibly inclusive!ā€

šŸ—£ļø š—Ŗhat are your most memorable experiences?

ā€œWhat has stuck with me the most goes back 17 years, when I first started at Aristo. Back then, my job simply consisted of processing reservations, and now, years later, my colleagues and I are much more than just reservation processors. We now play much more of an advisory role and can achieve more with the technology available today. And that’s what makes my job challenging and fun!ā€

Meet Christy, our location manager in Eindhoven. For three years now, she takes great pleasure in ensuring a warm welcome and makes sure every event runs smoothly. With her eye for detail, the variety in her work, and the personal attention she gives to guests and colleagues, she makes a difference every day at Aristo.

šŸ—£ļøš‡šØw long have you been working at Aristo?

I’ve been happily working at Aristo for 3 years now as a location manager in Eindhoven.

šŸ—£ļø What does your average working day look like?

I start at 7:30 a.m. by booting up the systems and getting the venue ready. Then I welcome guests and provide support as and when needed—from assisting guests in their rooms to setting up the extensive lunch buffet. After my own lunch, I catch up on my emails and administrative tasks. I wrap up my day around 4:00 p.m.

šŸ—£ļø š–hat is your main motivation for working at Aristo?

The variety and freedom in my role are what motivate me the most. In addition to my daily work on-site, I also work on the SVH digital learning platform, for example. The variety of guests—from one-time visitors to those who return every week—makes my job even more enjoyable!

šŸ—£ļø š–hat makes Aristo so unique?

Aristo really looks at the person behind the employee. If I ever stop feeling happy, I know that anything is possible at Aristo.

šŸ—£ļø š–hat is your most memorable experience at Aristo?

When I was pregnant with my first child, a regular guest gave me a stuffed toy as a thank-you gift. I thought that was very thoughtful, and it really made an impression on me!
